Medicine Creek Adventures

Netley Marsh and Oak Hammock Marsh offer a spectacular combination of waterfowl hunting opportunities.

On the the shores of Medicine Creek, our double A-frame b&b provides cozy, private rooms.

Our migratory bird numbers have increased in the past few years, partially due to our increased water levels and conservation projects.

We are located on Medicine Creek on the Netley Marsh. Oak Hammock marsh is just 4 miles to the west.

Within a ten minute boat ride, you can be hunting the various channels and openings of Netley Marsh. The marsh itself is public hunting grounds although access is limited and there are very few resident hunters with the dramatic decrease in resident hunting.

Netley offers a very wide variety of ducks including mallards, gadwalls, pintails, bluebills, wood ducks, canvasbacks, redheads, widgeons and a variety of the smaller ducks. Geese are also available on the marsh.

The local fields offer world-class goose hunting. Canadas and Snows are the main attraction here, with some unbelievable mallard action available as well.

These private fields are primarily grain fields with wheat, barley and oats.

Our field gear consists of Final Approach layout blinds and "decoy chair" blinds and a variety of decoys, including full body honkers and Greenhead Gear full body mallards. We also have many dozens of floaters for the water.
